1. What this notice covers
This notice covers our Moxy Web Studio website, lead forms, preview links, private order pages, photo upload pages, AI receptionist, email/support communications, checkout/payment flow, domain help, hosted website setup, and related customer service.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
We may collect:
- your name;
- business name;
- business website;
- email address;
- phone number;
- business address;
- business category/type;
- services, menu, pricing, hours, tagline, social links, notes, and other site details;
- domain name or domain preference;
- logo files;
- photos and image files;
- menu/price-list photos;
- PDFs or other files you upload;
- support requests;
- change requests;
- proof approvals;
- cancellation/refund requests;
- messages you send through email, chat, support desk, or forms; and
- any other information you choose to provide.
Information from your business's public web presence
To prepare a preview or website, we may review or use information from:
- your existing website;
- your public Google Business Profile;
- public business listings;
- public contact pages;
- maps/listing data;
- public photos or facts that appear to belong to your business; and
- similar public sources.
We use this to draft a preview, confirm business facts, and avoid inventing contact details.
Uploaded photos, logos, and documents
If you upload photos, logos, menus, price lists, sign photos, PDFs, or other files, we store and use them to build, revise, support, and deliver your site.
We may convert or resize images so they work on the website. For example, phone HEIC images may be converted to JPEG.
If you upload a menu or price-list photo, we may use software or AI tools to read text and prices from the image. You must check the result and correct anything that was misread.
If you upload a sign photo, we may use it to help recreate or draft logo concepts.
Google listing photos
If your business has photos on its Google listing, we may show you an option to use photos that appear to have been uploaded by your business.
We do not intentionally import reviewer/customer photos from your Google listing.
We only import your Google listing photos after you tap the button or ask the AI receptionist/team to use them.
AI receptionist messages
Our order page may include an AI receptionist. It can collect details for your site, record change requests, note support needs, request a callback, and hand off to a person.
The AI receptionist may see relevant order details such as your business name, email, chosen design, plan label, uploaded-photo count, missing checklist items, previously provided details, verified Google profile facts, support history, and recent conversation messages.
The AI receptionist does not take payment information, quote final prices, promise dates, approve refunds, decide disputes, or give legal/tax/professional advice.
Payment information
Payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor.
Card details go directly to the payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
We may receive and store payment status, payment reference, plan, amount, tax, refund status, and related checkout records needed for service, support, and accounting.
A payment marked as a test on the order page is not a real charge.
Email information
We use Resend to send emails such as acknowledgements, preview links, order links, photo links, proof links, revised proof links, support replies, and status messages.
We may log email recipient, subject, send status, message ID, error reason, tag, and timestamp. We do not intentionally log email API keys.
Domain information
If you ask us to check or register a domain, we may use Porkbun and related DNS/registrar tools to check availability, register a domain, set A records, enable privacy where available, renew the domain, or transfer the domain to you on request.
We may store domain choices, availability results, registration status, DNS status, renewal status, transfer status, and related support notes.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics on our public pages, such as the home page and help guides, to count visits and see which pages people use. It sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We do not use it on private order pages and do not send it your name, email, or order details.
